Finally in Rosario

Big changes!

Our dream and long prayer came true as we moved to the city of Rosario on the 19th of January. We are renting a beautiful house at the city center just about 5 blocks away from the river. We are three families with their five kids and 12 singles living at this YWAM missionary community.

The first two weeks we worked hard to make our home beautiful. And in two weeks we already had the opening ceremony of our base. Here´s a brief video about that.

To be honest we have been working hard, but it hasn’t been that difficult as I imagined. We have seen God’s faithfulness in so many ways! People we didn’t know beforehand appear to our door bring donations such as food and cleaning and hygiene products! Daddy really knows our every need!

Every Friday we have our Coffee Night where we gather to worship, listen to the word and share together. Every Friday there are new faces and we are happy to receive non-Christians as well!

We have already been invited to many different events but also we are planning two conferences for women.

This is an event for Christian women of different ages and denominations

This is a special event for non-Christian women
of different professions and areas of influence
in the society

I am personally really grateful for this challenging but rich time. Looking forward for everything to come. Please stay tuned to hear more!

Please pray for these topics:

  • For the women conferences. We are still looking for auditorios.
  • For the neighbors and people we evangelize and are starting to disciple to
  • For the finances. It has been a challenging time but as well a time to see God’s providence always on time.

Happy New Year!

Happy New Year!

Thinking about this past year 2016 gratitud really fills my heart. It has been such a great year in terms of health, friendships, family, provision and many more things. I feel privileged to serve God with my talents and gifts and to be part of this big movement of the church which is alive and mobile.

Our Christmas celebration was awesome here. I'm already getting used to the fact that it's summer, it's hot & humid, the celebration is outside and beyond the good food there's joyful music and dance. We celebrated together with our Art ministry but also other people and family members joined in and together we were around 30 people.

Few weeks before the Christmas Eve we had a big Christmas dinner for the whole neighborhood. It's one our ways to reach and evangelize the people around us every year.

I wish you all a blessed and fruitful 2017! Get fully involved in God's adventures and I bet it won't be a boring year!

Thank you all for your prayers and support and love during this past year! It makes the difference!

Reaching the hip-hop culture

Now it has been few weeks back here in Buenos Aires Argentina. It was easy to readapt here.

In the first week we held a hip-hop event at the base. "YWAM Street Battle" was as any other dance battle, only arranged by ywamers, at our local base in YWAM Ituzaingo. Our hall was filled with around 200 dancers as they competed in the styles of break dance, hip-hop dance and house. The event was such and success, the dancers were amazed by the good organization and our love and care. We have been able to continue the good work we’re doing with them.

What else?
  • I have been editing some of our videos.
  • We inscribed our band Pujahca to a band competition. We’re still waiting for an email wether we passed or not.
  • Yesterday we visited a worship conference. Hiram, our leader was teaching about evangelizing and influencing in every sphere of the society and the guys danced.

Please be praying:
  • I’m a bit sick right now. The weather has been variating radically lately and many of us are catching cold. Let’s pray for healing!
  • Our project of opening a base in Rosario moves slowly forward. However there’s a man living illegally in the house we are looking forward to move into. Let’s pray he would leave as soon as possible and we wouldn’t need to wait for the police to interact.
Thankful for all your support folks!

Home, sweet Finland

It has been quite silent here lately. But it doesn’t mean my life would have been silent.

Right now I’m at New York’s airport waiting for my flight to Brasil only to be continued by the last flight to Argentina. So my trip to Finland is officially over now.

I arrived to Finland on the 26th of August after a long trip. My parents were waiting in the airport. How had I been missing them!

After one day of rest at home I went to do something really Finnish with my friends. We packed our backpacks and went hiking. In two days we walked 20 km. And of course we slept outside in tents and cooked our food on bonfire. Really Finnish.

My brother was moving to a new house with their family so I also had an opportunity to help him with fixing the new house.

You can see more photos from my sister-in-law's blog

There were also two friends from YWAM Argentina visiting Finland and together we had a little trip visiting some youth camps and churches. Emilia, who had done her DTS at our base this year was also seeing her family so together we formed a great team. I had the honor to translate our visitors when they shared or preached in Spanish.

Ale on the left loves Finland.
Aaron on the right is Chilean and visiting Finland for the first time.

Love this car! Emilia was our trustworthy driver
as we miraculously fit into this Mini Cooper

In general, it was so crazy how many awesome encounters I had with so many people! I got to see all the closest family members, supporters, crowds of friends, got to know my new nieces and nephew and even met with my friends from the job I used to have.

These guys (Kruuvi) are my best friends!
So I was more than willing to help them with their gig.

Playing with my niece.

I was spoiled in many ways :D

My plan was also to share about the new base we are about to open in Rosario. So this week my friend arranged a mission night where I was able to explain well what we are doing as AME art team and what’s the deal with Rosario. I was surprised how many people came to listen to me and how generous they were with our project! Thank you all!

So basically I’m just super happy and thankful for all the details of this trip! It had already been more than two years and half since the last visit and I don’t know when the next opportunity will be! So that’s why I’m so grateful for this opportunity to travel in this season.

Thank you everyone for your time, support, prayers, conversations and friendship. It’s something crucial to have emotional, spiritual and financial support from my homeland.

News, Good news

Good news!

There are some pretty awesome things going on I want to share with you guys!

Today I went to renew my residence. This is the third time I got to do it. Everything just went so smooth and perfect. Since this year I didn't even needed to pay for it! Since this year the religious residence is free also for the evangelical ministries!

Next year when I renew my residence for the forth time it will finally be a permanent one. It has been a long battle but it's easier every time.

Last Saturday the 9th of July it was Argentina's 200th independence day! So we decided to celebrate well! We cut the traffic and danced folklore on the street! Lots of neighbors gathered to dance, hang out and eat tradicional Argentinean food.

This was also a strategic and prophetic move against the crime wave that had attacked our neighborhood lately. There have been more robbery than ever before and people are afraid to move outside. We have been interceding a lot for the situation, walking in the neighborhood doing spiritual warfare and this event was such a big part of this all.

In two weeks I'll be already on my way back home. I'll hope to see lots of friends in Finland during August!

Be blessed all!

new songs from my band!

Hey, guys!

I don't know if you all know that I'm playing in a band here! The band is called Pujahca, and it's an original fusion of rock, reggae, hip hop, funk etc. The lyrics are in Spanish, but you'll like the rhythm anyway!

Half of the musicians are from our Art Ministry and half outside. The lead voice is the our ministry leader. I myself play keys and also do recording.

We recorded this song with other ywam artists.

You can also follow Pujahca in Instagram!

Original Design

Check this new video we made to promote our Art School!

English and Finnish subtitles available, just click "CC" and settings to change the language.

It's our six-months-long art school, the very same I came to do when I first came to Argentina. The next school will be held in 2017 in our new base in Rosario!

P.S. Excited to visit Finland. Leaving in three weeks!!!
