Happy New Year!

Happy New Year!

Thinking about this past year 2016 gratitud really fills my heart. It has been such a great year in terms of health, friendships, family, provision and many more things. I feel privileged to serve God with my talents and gifts and to be part of this big movement of the church which is alive and mobile.

Our Christmas celebration was awesome here. I'm already getting used to the fact that it's summer, it's hot & humid, the celebration is outside and beyond the good food there's joyful music and dance. We celebrated together with our Art ministry but also other people and family members joined in and together we were around 30 people.

Few weeks before the Christmas Eve we had a big Christmas dinner for the whole neighborhood. It's one our ways to reach and evangelize the people around us every year.

I wish you all a blessed and fruitful 2017! Get fully involved in God's adventures and I bet it won't be a boring year!

Thank you all for your prayers and support and love during this past year! It makes the difference!

Let me introduce... all my YWAM people

Last week we had our national conference as YWAM Argetina. Actually it was international because we received our people from many continents. In total we were around 500 ywamers.

The whole week was super blessed and there would be a LOT to share with you. God really spoke to us and ministered us as a mission and individual. Physically we are more than tired but in our spirit we all are renewed.

However now I just want to show you the video we made to present our base and some things we did this last year. The song we presented is an old Christian song. However we made our own version. Joel recorded that electric and bass guitar and I made the rest of the musical production.

So here we go if you want to know a bit our staff here at the base...

In the end of the conference we did thae same with all of the people...

Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas to everyone!

I'm so blessed to be back here in Finland for Christmas! I really enjoy spending time with my family and eating lots and lots.

This picture, because it's not snowing here, only raining..:0
So everything's mostly gray.

The few last days I'll spend on a camp of my home church and then I'll fly back to Argentina..!

work hard, pray hard

Hi!

The thing is that my life here in the base is just so full of different things and event etc that I could never record them all here! The last weeks have been busy once again even though last weekend was really calm.

I show you some photos to tell you a bit what's going on here.

KIDS' DAY

On the Kids' day we had an event for all the kids of the neighborhood

We had an important role to perform:

The opening dance of the kids' day

There were also some games and teaching.
During that time I was praying for the parents
who wanted us to pray for their lives.

In the end of the day every kid received a bag of some personal hygiene items.

 PARTY

Lucca's birthday party

The theme of the party...

Monster make up

Rocio's 8-hour-long birthday party
My job was to be the DJ as usual
and make the people dance

CONSTRUCTION

Building Nakayamas' house

Transforming the studio

Building a new room for Hiram & Paula's new baby

Joel, 34°C and Hiram's roof we made.

Ok, this was just a small part of everything I have been doing. But maybe you'll have more idea now.

Ultimately God has been treating my heart once again. Hah, that's a nice way to tell the things! But yeah, I passed through a time where I was economically really challenged. I tried my best to trust on God and I was able to see His faithfulness week after week and day after day. There were days without any money but not a single day without good food! But the situation continued until I really had to confess that my trust wasn't fully on God but still on people. God used this all to break my pride and put my trust fully on Him. He has been always faithful and He will be.

Thank you all my supporters and people praying for me! I love to live my life when there're your kind of people walking with me!

God is already treating me with different things, but it's another story... Maybe I'll tell you next time!

Be super blessed and rejoice in the Lord!

Graduation of the Counceling School

Hey guys! For them who didn't know yet... I did it! I graduated from the YWAM 2nd level School of Biblical Counseling.

To be honest I'm proud of this achievement! I mean, I never had problems with primary school, high school etc... But to be honest the YWAM schools really takes your to another level when it's all about your character, your integrity, your willingness to renounce and change. In these schools we live together 24/7 so there's no space for faking or living a double life.

So honestly this school was way more difficult I imagined. All of my school mates felt at least once that they just want to leave the school and go back home. Well, I didn't because I knew this was my place. But I'm just so thankfull for the staff and leadership that they had grace over me and didn't send me home even when I might deserve it.

God totally guided me through all these 6 months and I'm just amazed by what He did. For the first time for many many years I'm actually doing good with myself. I just love the man God made me! I have way much clearer idea who I am as a son, as beloved, as man, as warrior. I understand I was created for intimacy with my Daddy God and I don't need to do anything to get there. Just allow Him to enter to my reality and brokeness. This all just make me wonder if I even was a believer before this school? Yes, I believed, but so many lies about myself and God.

In the same time there's so many processes that just started during the school and now it's time to keep on walking in this new truth I received. Many times we want the chances quickly and it's easy to get frustrated when you don't see that much chance. It's scary to see that even after receiving so much healing your inner enemies are still real and it's still easy to deceive yourself.

But I decide to live above the fear of going back to the old. The fear will not control me, but I grab it as a weapon I point against every enemy rising up their head. Beware, I'm not fighting in my own strength any more!

I wanted to become better during the school. I didn't. What I did, I discovered the good God had already set in me. And well, with all the bad that's still there... I became more dependent - more dependent on God and the help of my family around.

Ok, let's not get that emotional. Let's show the photos of the graduation!

Beulah sharing the word

My friends from the Ituzaingó´s base really
surprised me and came to visit me.
Thank u so much guys!

I'm gonna miss this guy. Even though Lisandro was not part of our school, we became really good friends.

The last night all together!

But yeah, I just want to thank you all for sharing this journey with me. I can't find words to thank you for your prayers, encouragement and support. I love you people!

Let's give thanks for:

  • God really healed me and shaped me during the school
  • The good health and support during the school
  • The amazing outreach

Let's pray for:

  • All of the school mates that they'd allow God to finish His work in their life
  • Refreshment for all the staff members and leadership
  • My new time in YWAM Ituzaingó here in the province of Buenos Aires

P.S. So basicly I'm back in the YWAM base here in Ituzaingó, Buenos Aires. It's good to be back here and I feel really loved and welcomed once again. I'm working in the art ministry where I used to be before as well. Hope to write some updates soon!

like I never was away

I have been here in Buenos Aires now for one week and half or something. However it feels like a month or something! Here at the base we'll always have our days so full. I have also adapted myself here well I guess, so actually I almost feel I never was away from here.

Something I have already done. I designed a flyer to advertise Hiram's concert in Puerto Rico. Hiram is leading the art ministry with his wife Paula, but now he's in Puerto Rico raising some funds to the family. I also made a short video to advertise the concert.

I have also been working with another video: AME school 2013. Our ministry starts running a 6 month art school for dancers, actors and musicians. That was the reason I first came to Argentina last year - to do the AME school 2011. Anyway, with this video I'm working with we want to promote the school. I'll post it here at soon as it's ready!

I'm also making some paper work to get a residence of Argentina so I wouldn't need to get out of the country every 3 months... It has already been a bit of work... Praise God I have friends helping me with this complicated paper stuff. Btw, it's all in Spanish...

I have been playing keyboard in some worship times and also practiced with Jeremy's band. This Monday we also got together with some artists to have a small Bible study in downtown. Oh, and I also started my singing classed once again!

This all has been a lot of work but we have also celebrated! My friend's brother got married last Saturday! Jonatan did the art school with me and I have become to know his brother by visiting his house a lot. I was so happy for the invitation and even more happy that I actually got the opportunity to participate la fiesta.

Jonatan did the AME school with me in 2011. Maika did her DTS in the same time. They didn't get married.

They did!

From the beginning of la fiesta.

Few hours later...

Today we had El Día Del Niño (Children's day) here in Argentina. As a base we arranged a big party and invited all the kids from the neighborhood to come. 150 kids came today for few hours to the base.

We played some games and ate some sweet things. But this year we also shared something important to the children. During the day we talked about child abuse and how to prevent oneself from sexual abuse. Here in Buenos Aires it's such a great problem so we wanted to bless these kids with this really important message. It's not an easy theme to talk but we had prepared few plays to make things easier to understand. Every child also received a book with the important message how to keep oneself safe.

"¡Felíz Día del Niño! un regalo inolvidable"
- I worked the whole morning (4 hours) making this...

From the play: Grandma telling her grandchildren
how to take care of one's private parts.

Happy kids with their books in the end of the day.

The day was long and stressing but everything went super well. With all kids we prayed Jesus to come into our life. Some kids also shared their experiencies about some kind of abuse. Most of the kids had their parents with them so we were also able to share with them what we have on our heart.

I'm giving thanks for:

  • I had the opportunity to be in the wedding
  • I have seen many of my friends again!
  • How God used us to minister the kids of this neighborhood today
  • God answered all my prayers I posted last time!

I'm praying for:

  • everything that has to do with my residence... The whole process is a bit complicated
  • deeper encounters with God
  • my finances - it has been a step of faith to come here again for such a long time
