I'm so going to New York!

Long time, no sea.

Hey, I'm super sorry for those who actually read my blog for not writing for ages! Sometimes I even write the text but then never manage to add photos etc and never end up publishing anything..! fail.

But yeah, I want to share something exciting... We're going to have an outreach in the USA! How cool is that!

Everything started with Luis Palau. He's a famous Argentinean evangelist. And right now his association and the local churches in New York are having big events in the New York City. The main event will be the 11th of July in the Central Park. So basically Palau invited the YWAMers to be part of this movement and we took the challenge as a ministry.

Our team is 13 adults and 3 babies. :) First we'll head to North Carolina and serve there. And to new york we are going for the rest of the time in July.

But now the great thing is that I bought my tickets today! It's a real miracle! Thank you all my supporters and intercessors! I borrowed some money though to not wait any longer.

If you want to be part of this dream you still have an opportunity! Beyond the debt I have to cancel I still need money to the transport from North Carolina to New York. And of course some spare for the daily needs... And there're still some team members who don't have their tickets yet. So please at least pray for us! ;)

Here we have a video of our trip in three languages: pick up the one you mostly speak!

MINI-OUTREACH - coming soon, coming very soon, coming tomorrow!

As you guys know we are once again presenting our musical (El viaje de los hermanos Luna). Last season was in the beginning of the year on the coast. But now we are presenting in the downtown of Buenos Aires.

Until now we have presented only weekends: Saturdays and Sundays (when the world cup hasn't messed everything up...) But now as the local winter vacations are about to start our real season starts as well. So we are presenting the play every day for two weeks! That sounds interesting, right?

The amazing news is that we don't have to travel to downtown everyday. From our base it's a two hour trip to the theatre by the public transport. So it would be super tiring to sit four hours on bus everyday for 16 days...

But God heard our prayers and we are invited to stay in a hostel in downtown. The crazy thing is that we don't need pay anything! It's an ex-ywamer who owns the hostel. Hearing God's voice she made the decision to take us in even if we won't be able to pay.

So tomorrow morning we're leaving our base and starting a mini-outreach in the downtown. It's going to be amazing!

Since now it has been a bit harsh because we haven't have enough public to pay to the theatre. We have done our possible with the promotional and pressed on with medias, friends, churches and everything...

However God has used us as a great testimony for the people working in the theatre. The three people working in the theatre have it clear that we are believers, we have a different message and our goal is a bit different from the others. We have preached directly to the owner of the theatre and he's really open to receive from us.

So I'm looking forward for these becoming 16 days!

Thank you so much for all your support! Please remember us in your prayers. You can pray for:
  • a revival in the theatre. That's a prophetic word God gave me earlier this year.
  • public to come and be touched by God through the musical
  • that we won't miss anything that God wants to use us to

black (family) news

Hey people!

Some friends just uploaded a video from last year. It's a song by Jeremy Black. As you can see I'm playing the keys on the back and making the hooky (irritating) trumpet sounds. I want to post this just to let you hear how is the music we do with Jeremy.

Actually there are much more stuff in SoundCloud. Forexample this song we recorded in the studio:

Just listen carefully and you'll hear the keyboard effect on the background. That's me ;)

Oh btw, I'm not sure if I mentioned yet... But my small beautifull M-AUDIO keyboard is working once again! Yeah, the one that got damaged in the flood last year! Actually I just needed to buy a new cable and now it seems to work perfectly! Praise God!

P.S. please be praying for our Art Internship. We are really challenged with finances! Even though I manage my finances separately from the Internship I'm actually in the very situation. Thank you!

a small but really important request :)

Hey guys!

Have been a while since writing. I'm sorry if someone missed my updates.

The Art Internship with Shini and Rob who
came to teach us about communications!
Amazing people, such a blessing!

Lots of things have happened. But the most important is that I can see how God has been working in my heart and the hearts of us as ministry and missionary community. The last month has been also a time of repentance and brokenness. It has been more than necessary.

Basically the life goes on. I'm a staff member of an Art Internship here in YWAM Ituzaingó, Buenos Aires and spend my days with translating classes, cleaning, preparing events, taking art classes, having good moments of worship and intercession, evangelizing, cooking etc etc.

Haha, these photos are from the baby shower of today!

But now I'm writing to you because I need your help with something really specific! More than a year ago God spoke me about supporting financially the missionary work in the unreached mission field (10/40 window - the areas where people have never heard about Jesus.) So since that I have supported a missionary every month with a certain amount of money.

The truth is that God has been really faithful and I have been able to be supporting whole this time. However it seems I won't be able to send my monthly support this month. So I really wish that someone would be part of this thing and help me with the support of this month. The amount is not that big, don't you hesitate to ask me!

The missionary I'm supporting (let's call him "Taa") is a Thai missionary in his own country. I met him in Thailand in 2010 in my DTS outreach. He with his ministry is doing constantly a great missionary work and evangelizing. It's so encouraging to read from his newsletters about the new saved souls and different miracles.

So please, pray and ask God if it's your part to help him this month and please let me know! I can send you all the information or you can transfer the money to my account and I send it forward.

Thank you guys! May God bless you!

flooding

Hey folks!

I just want briefly share what's happening here in Argentina. This is from the wikipedia article:
From 1–3 April 2013, the northeastern section of Buenos Aires ProvinceArgentina, experienced several flash floods that claimed the lives of at least 59 people. Greater La Plata was hardest hit with 51 reported deaths, and Greater Buenos Airesreported 8 deaths. The flooding was the result of extremely heavy rainfall and is said to be the worst flooding in La Plata's history. As of 4 April, 20 people are still missing and 1,200 evacuated in La Plata.
Here is also a video with a beautiful Indian accent explaining a lot what happened:

As missionaries and the body of Christ we can't close our eyes from these kind of things. So tomorrow morning (actually this morning, in 6 hours) we'll be heading for the city of La Plata to help people at least for two days. We are a group of maybe 50 ywamers and surely we'll be cleaning, helping, talking and praying. We also want to have a special focus on the kids and see their needs.

So I just wanted to let you know so you can also be part of this and pray for us and the people.

prayer request for my residence

As I wrote before I'm applying for a temporary residence of Argentina. The process seemed to be kinda complicated but I already have most of the documents I need. However my turn for the migrations is next monday and I must still work with some documents. So I'm just asking your prayers so everything would go smoothly and on time.

The residence is very important for me. Now I'm still as a tourist here and I can stay in Argentina only for 3 months at time. So let's pray for wisdom and patience for me as I'm working to get these documents! And let's praise God for the favor He gives to all His children, right?

Thank you for praying!
