From the centre of Buenos Aires
¡Hola!
Our days went usually like this:
And well, after the afternoon play it was bit freer: we had snack together with the other actors or went out or just went back to the hostel to sleep. Well, one night we had another presentation on a Christian book market. There were easily more than 200 people.
The two intense weeks in the downtown are over and it's time for some updates from the outreach.
The hostel we stayed is in the very centre of Buenos Aires. I don't know if have ever seen it, but there's a huge obelisk in the centre of the city. If you put Buenos Aires to the Google Maps it will point you that point. So, our hostel was only three block saway from there.
The owner of the hostel used to be in YWAM for long time and now the Lord has led her to have that hostel in the micro centre of Buenos Aires. The vision of the place is really clear: it's a place where people have to decide whether they accept Jesus or continue their life empty. So for us it wasn't only a place where we were able to intercede and worship but as well evangelize the other guests.

in the hostel |
Our days went usually like this:
- 7:30 - wake up
- 8:00 - breakfast
- 8:30 - quiet time
- 9:30 - intercession/worship
- 10:30 - preparing to go out
- 11:00 - sharing flyers on the streets, outside of the malls and family restaurants
- 13:30 - theatre: sandwich lunch & set up
- 15:00 - ready, set, go! Presentation
And well, after the afternoon play it was bit freer: we had snack together with the other actors or went out or just went back to the hostel to sleep. Well, one night we had another presentation on a Christian book market. There were easily more than 200 people.
Our main focus was once again the people working inside the theatre. They were the people we spent most time with and the truth is that if we didn't preach them who would? So we prayed for them them a lot and according to what God spoke to us we moved forward building the relationship and sharing the truth.
We needed to cancel one of the first presentations because no-one came. That was once again an opportunity to show the people in the theatre where our identity is. Of course it was sad that one-one came but they were surprised how we decided to rejoice anyway and not to turn to a bad mood. However since that we were able to see God's faithfulness with the public!
As I said the two weeks were pretty intense, but it was totally worth it. It was also good for the group: we are once again a bit more united and family-like. It's a good preparation for the next challenge: the AME school starting in the beginning of September!
Thanks:
- God's favor over us with the accommodation and public
- We're able to preach and impact different people
- For the support and prayers of you guys
Next:
- I'll try once again with the residence this Thursday. Please pray!
- There's a lot of preparation for the AME school.
- Ok, my computer still works well, but it's getting out of date... This week Skype stopped supporting my system any more. So I'm praying for a MacBook Pro.

MINI-OUTREACH - coming soon, coming very soon, coming tomorrow!
As you guys know we are once again presenting our musical (El viaje de los hermanos Luna). Last season was in the beginning of the year on the coast. But now we are presenting in the downtown of Buenos Aires.
Until now we have presented only weekends: Saturdays and Sundays (when the world cup hasn't messed everything up...) But now as the local winter vacations are about to start our real season starts as well. So we are presenting the play every day for two weeks! That sounds interesting, right?
The amazing news is that we don't have to travel to downtown everyday. From our base it's a two hour trip to the theatre by the public transport. So it would be super tiring to sit four hours on bus everyday for 16 days...
But God heard our prayers and we are invited to stay in a hostel in downtown. The crazy thing is that we don't need pay anything! It's an ex-ywamer who owns the hostel. Hearing God's voice she made the decision to take us in even if we won't be able to pay.
So tomorrow morning we're leaving our base and starting a mini-outreach in the downtown. It's going to be amazing!
Since now it has been a bit harsh because we haven't have enough public to pay to the theatre. We have done our possible with the promotional and pressed on with medias, friends, churches and everything...
However God has used us as a great testimony for the people working in the theatre. The three people working in the theatre have it clear that we are believers, we have a different message and our goal is a bit different from the others. We have preached directly to the owner of the theatre and he's really open to receive from us.
So I'm looking forward for these becoming 16 days!
Thank you so much for all your support! Please remember us in your prayers. You can pray for:
- a revival in the theatre. That's a prophetic word God gave me earlier this year.
- public to come and be touched by God through the musical
- that we won't miss anything that God wants to use us to

be bad and do it well
I must confess you guys something. I started acting once again.
Well, to be honest I was forced to. I wasn't really willing to do that but there was a need and here we go. (Hiram is going to Miami with another play so he won't be able to do the role any more.)
So of course it's about the musical we're presenting every weekend in the downtown: El viaje de los hermanos Luna.
My character is called Maloso. He's the villain of the story: a betrayer who pretends to be a poor oldie but actually loves to have a great show and frighten the people. However he can't stand the truth nor the presence of anyone from the Kingdom. Yeah, my role is to represent the enemy.
What makes my part easy but interesting is that it's a puppet head I'm moving with my hand. So people can't see my face. And in fact we even recorded the lines, so everything comes playback.
My another role is still on the back stage with the set up and props. But well it's actually loads of fun to play a part that embarrasses the the enemy and declares his defeat. And well, if I make a mistake it's not my shame but the enemy's. If I happen to stumble or my trousers fall I'm only representing him better.
I have really seen God's faithfulness in the theatre these days! But please, keep on praying, especially for the audience to come. We don't want to make more dept!

music & comedy
Ok, it has been more than a long time since last post. There have been lots of things going on and I have been more than busy at least the last two weeks.
Two weeks ago we had a music concert here at our base. We invited three more bands to play with us. God has been really generous with us as we have received lots of instruments and sound equipment of the best quality. So it's our honor to use it and let others to use it as well.
This time we had a new drummer and bass guitarist playing with our band Pujahca. To be honest the guys just exploded it and I really enjoyed playing. And so did all the other bands as well.
The goal of the concert was to evangelize, create relationships and raise up funds for our rehearsal room. Praise God it went all well!
Last Saturday we started once again with our musical El viaje de los hermanos Luna. We will be presenting during the weekends and then non-stop for two weeks during the winter holidays. This time it's a theatre in the downtown of Buenos Aires.
It has been such an effort and work once again. During the months I was working with different promotional designs, new tracks, videos, radio promos etc. And during this last two weeks we made a whole new set up. As we didn't have lots of time and resources we have been working super hard. Last week we stayed up almost every night till 1 am.

We used a projector to mark my drawing to the material. |

One of the many many designs I've made. |
So it has been kind of crazy till yesterday. I don't personally like pressure because it easily makes me stress. Or actually the work and tiredness aren't that big deal but the way we handle them. In my case, the pressure and tiredness make me see the crap I still have inside and that doesn't really encourage me.
However God has been more than faithful. There have been so many days I have just said "God I don't know how to go though this". But He has given me strength and helped me in every task. He has healed me from my flu and covered many possible mistakes.
A video I made to promote the play.
So this is basically what I have been in to. Well, just a small small part of that. Everyday is a new adventure and new challenges. I find myself once again so poor and needy for God. I keep on being surprised by the deceitfulness of my heart but as well by His everlasting love. If I'm alive it's by His mercy. If I manage to do something for His Kingdom it's only by his grace.
Thankful for:
- God's taking more than good care of me.
- The support of you guys, family and friends.
- The concert and the musical.
Praying for:
- To move on in my relationship with God.
- Our musical to reach the right people.
- A new MacBook :)

Testimonies from Mar del Plata
Sorry guys about not telling you more about our outreach even though it finished like two weeks ago!!! But here we go!

Going to share flyers. |
As I told u before we had some struggles to make people to come to see our musical. However God used us in a different way: to impact other artists. And anyway the whole musical thing was just an excuse to enter to the environment of the local artists.
Something we didn't know beforehand was that the theatre we performed is a place where many transformistas prepare for their shows. Transformistas are gays (at least in this case) who dress up as women for the shows. (So they are not technically transvestites because they do it "just for show"...) Most of the musicals in the city had to do this or other kind of perversion. There were just two other shows for children.

Some of the guys promoting their shows on the walking street. Oh, there are also three ladies on the back row! |
However after the first shock we slowly began to built a good relationship with most of them. They noticed quickly that we are different and have totally different values: family, respect, humbleness, love etc. Especially they were touched by our unity and through the children in our team.
During our intercession times at our house we prayed for the guys and then we wrote on the words God spoke to us and passed them to the guys in the theatre. They were really thankful. In the end one of them came out with an idea of having lunch together. So we invited the to visit us.
Now, in the spiritual world the conflict between us and them was pretty strong. So the previous night we stayed interceding and worshipping till 3 AM because of the oppression we felt. And even during the lunch we took turns of intercession. We finished the lunch praying for each one of them. They liked the fellowship so much that they wanted to come again. That was fine for us and once again we had an opportunity to share our testimonies and pray for them.
The first lunch. |
And the second one. |

We didn't let them leave before praying! |
Another goal of the outreach was to play with our band Pujahca. So finally we found a good place to play. Before the gig we also had interviews with two different radios. We really enjoyed playing! The only thing was that just few people came to see us.
Check this out! We played this song for the first time and I just love it.
During our time we were really blessed by the hospitality of the local people. The church we went to welcomed us so warmly even without knowing us! They also helped us with the promotion of the musical and invited us to eat! That night was so special that I won't forget it. As well the local YWAM base helped us with many things and the ywamers were by our side.

The church members sewed the flags of each one of our countries! Just to make us feel welcome :) |
The whole outreach was such a great miracle, how God provided everything, how He kept us safe and used us by His grace, how we grew in intercession and our relationships and many other things. Thank you all for your prayers and support! I felt so blessed because I was able to help the whole team with some purchases.
Gratitude:
- His provision, guidance and care. Health.
- Every fruit we were able to see in the people we met. And there are so much more that we can't see yet.
- My niece is alive and getting better! It's a real miracly, Daddy is just so faithful!
- Maru and Naka got their baby Takeo. He's healthy and cute :)
Trust:
- The seed we sowed won't be stolen but bear fruit.
- I'm leaving tomorrow to Cordoba for five days. I'll be playing with Pujahca and another band. Let's pray God's will to happen in everything.

worshiping on the beach, interceding in the theatre and evangelizing on the street
Greetings from Mar del Plata, from the coast of Argentina!
![]() |
A worship time on the beach |
We have been already more than a week here on outreach and it's a good time to write something.
We came here on the Saturday 1st. Our bus was almost 3 hours late and the AC didn't work, but finally we got here. Gabriel and Joel came on a van and they also had their own adventure when a random driver decided to give a punch Gabriel. Well, they ended up to a police station to figure out what happened.
We're living in a house we're renting. Since we are more than 20 people including 5 marrieged couples and 5 kids we don't fit all inside. So I sleep with the guys in a tent outside and two of the couples are taking turns with another tent. We have two bathrooms, one kitchen and the living room serves us as dining room and girls' bedroom as well. Till now we're doing great, not big fights or anything hehe.

Almost every one of us |
The house is like 15 blocks from the beach and we've been able to go there few times. I'm working hard to look a bit more latino, but I still working on that.
So our main tool to evangelize is our musical. El viaje de los hermanos Luna is a story of three siblings who are taken to a new world. In that new kingdom they find answers to their questions and core issues and finally got to meet up with the King of Light. The musical is for the whole family and the message is quite straight in the end.
We perform the musical in 5 days every week, last week we had already a full week. The thing is that even though we've already handed out 10.000 flyers, just a few people have come to see the play. The other musicals are doing great. It's sad but maybe because they are all about transvestists, gays, gossip etc. During our play there are always a group of guys in the same theatre putting their woman make up for the transvestist show of the night.
Oh, what's my part in the musical? I'm working on the back stage. Before the show starts I prepare the set off and during the play I take care of the props. As well I have been working with all our promotion and flyers and the huge banner.
A huge banner I made :) |

Flyers and new friends |
So in general we're doing very well. We have already paid the house and theatre and we've got some sponsors to provide some snacks. Thank you so much for your support!
What really upholds us is the daily moments of intercession and worship. To be honest we're not playing around here but in the midst of a spiritual war. So every prayer for us is more than welcome and needed!
Motives to praise:
- the financial provision of our team
- the health we all have
- we're doing well with our interpersonal relationships
Prayer requests:
- for more people to come to see the play
- for discernment and wisdom in this difficult atmosphere
- please pray for my niece in the hospital recovering from surgeries!!!
